Discussions about this year's BFA trip started a few months before the vacation began. Everyone had their own idea of "the perfect day".

The counselors were very relaxed about it all, although the discussions often got heated. We debated and reasoned, it's all part of the process. Children have to learn to compromise and, above all, to take into account the suggestions and ideas of others. Only in this way can peaceful coexistence within a community function.

Quietly, Nina, a 5th grade student, suggested that we could fly to another country, an innocent and funny thought. Many were amused by this suggestion, but in the end all the children were happy that Nina had this idea of flying.

The pictures speak for themselves: A moment is crucial when you feel weightless and believe you can fly.

Isn't that every child's dream?
