Competition of Creative Minds

In cooperation with various universities and companies in Düsseldorf, the BFA will honor the creative minds in our city. This will take place in an interdisciplinary format, and we encourage recruitment of young talent and creative minds. Pupils and students should be motivated to submit an idea (project outline, portfolio, abstract, video of an artistic performance).

Eligibility:

 All students of secondary schools as well as students of scientific universities, art colleges and music colleges are eligible to participate.

Application: 

Send us your creative ideas via email (info@bfa-jugend.de). After we receive your application you will get a confirmation receipt.

When:

Application until: 20.11.2020

Kick-off: January 13 - 15, 2021* (Announcement only with reservation of a cancellation due to the situation related to the coronavirus)

​

3-day kick-off:

The participants will be invited to the lecture room of the Hyatt Hotel at the kick-off. On the last day, the winner of the competition will present their topic / project / artistic performance at a public ceremony.

Jury:

The five-person jury consists of representatives of the BFA eV, of science, and of economy. The jury selects the most creative ideas from all submissions. The jury evaluates the ideas according to various criteria:

- Creativity 

- Presentation / implementation

- Impact

- Persuasion

Miscellaneous: 

The rights to all submitted ideas and projects belong to participants.

​

prize money:

Participants who win third place, receive €3,500 (euros).

Participants who win second place, receive €5,000 (euros).

Participants who win first place, receive €7,000 (euros).
