The Moments of my Childhood

When we were finally told that we would be going to Phantasialand this year, I couldn't imagine anything better. My friends were freaking out; shouting and cheering resounded through the hallways of our school. Finally, something to look forward to.

"Four months and thirteen days, the countdown begins!"

We were all checking the days off th calendar, making plans on how to speed up time while waiting in line and deciding which attractions to visit first.

"One month and two days and we'll finally be there!"

Our trip was getting closer and closer! The excitement made many boring classes more bearable. Our chaperones handed us maps and descriptions of each attraction - "so much to see and do, how are we going to get it all done in such a short time?" It was a fair question that popped right into my head as well ....

"Two weeks and seven hours, then we'll finally be there!"

On the one hand, we wanted the time to pass quickly, so that we could finally get on the road, but on the other hand, we wished that time would stand still... - a crazy thought that I will not try to explain.

"Eighteen hours ... "

Time, time, time, what do we do with the darn time?!

"We're here, it's over!"

Time has flown, ten hours have felt like minutes, and it was an absolutely fabulous time with my friends. So many beautiful moments, I don't even know where to begin.

Maybe we solved the problem of time after all: We'll rejoice in the moments so beautiful that they're etched in my mind, because they'll be "The Moments of My Childhood!"
